Caught this last August maybe? Didn't have any measuring equipment on hand. Measured my hand across the knuckles and kind of fudged it to be around 17" give or take. Caught it in the Mattawoman Creek here in Southern Maryland jigging a 5" Chart./Pepper Single-Tailed Grub rigged weedless on a 1/16th ounce darter head jig through some thick aquatic flora.
Only been fishing once so far this year. Only things I caught were some relaxation and a cold. Hoping to catch some snakehead this year so I can finally find out what they taste like.
