This is a striper, correct? Reason I ask, is the place I was fishing has white perch and white bass, but they used to stock striper long ago. People say that the striper population these days is very low and hard to find, but I'm pretty sure I caught a few small ones in a specific spot I found. Not sure what a "wiper" or hybrid would look like either. It's just one of those fish that can be easy to confuse when small. A big striper is easy to identify, I'm pretty sure this is a little striper though. The white bass and perch I caught were shaped differently and not streamlined like this.
