Trail was wonderful, people were great with lasting friendships, restored faith in humanity, met some beautiful women and got laid a couple times, partied and threw up a lot, had some great alone time with god, never was happier with absolutely nothing to my name knowing everything was consistently going to work out.
Years later I finally filed for bankruptcy over 10k because it had already been written off. Now I can't finance a house for another 8 months but whatever, time flys.
