Please can anyone give me some ideas for what to do with my garden? I bought my first house last year, the garden was a bit of a shit tip so I did a bit of tidying up and grew some plants and put a small vegetable patch next to the shed. I'm not really happy with the layout of the garden as it is now because I think the grass is boring compared to all the cool stuff I grew last year. I'd like a lot more room for flowers as at the moment I've only got that flowerbed on the left hand side. Sunlight is a bit awkward because the garden isn't south facing and the fences on either side and the trees at the back cast a fair bit of shadow throughout the day.
I've only recently taken an interest in gardening as well so I don't really know anything about growing plants except give it water and sun.
The garden is probably tiny by USA standards but I just want something to do on evenings and weekends other than playing videogames so any help is appreciated.
