>>2764283progress. his new feathers are slowly coming in, and he no longer looks like he spent three weeks stranded at sea. he chirps to get my attention, jumps on top of his house, bounces around for five minutes to work up his courage, and then practices flying. im sure he was getting bullied while i was not home. he can currently flutter about ten feet. then he goes to look at some shiny things and mark his territory in some of the rooms. looks like me and him are gonna learn to fly and gain self confidence over winter. he may also be getting used to trying to fly at double his weight when i got him. he's full now.
