Muskie anon here, I'm loving the reel, thank you to the anon who suggested it. I bought a 120 dollar two piece rod at cabellas but I may exchange it for a different model, or at least buy a warranty on it. I casted all day and got a muskie to follow and almost take my lure on a figure 8 right before I was about to head back. That's what keeps me in the game for it. Overall I love muskie fishing and my arms and wrist are sore from doing it all day. A couple freind of friends of mine fish the same lake as mine and one is a guide they claim to have gotten 15 muskie in one day, but I know they troll for them and that seems to take all the fun of either your rod almost being ripped out of your hands or watching them follow and take a lure. That's what I most like about it.
