>>534312Alright OP, I'm invested in you because when I backpacked across Europe it was a friendly Dutch couple that saved my ass. Lucky for you I'm a registered Maine Guide (in the States) and have a ton of canoe camping experience that I can use to repay my debt to the Netherlands.
Buy a bike lock or other cable-style lock if you're going to leave your canoes behind when you go on a hike. If you can, laminate a sign saying who you are, who owns the canoes, how to contact them, and that you'll be right back to leave behind with the canoes when you're hiking.
You need another license to guide fishing trips, which I don't have so no advice on fishing gear but I also have never seen a retractable pole that wasn't for kids. Though that doesn't mean they wouldn't do the job for anyone who isn't a snob.
As it's 2 chicks and 2 dudes, I assume it's really two couples so fuck that guy that said a 4 person tent. Two 2-man tents is easy enough. I don't know what companies are available in Europe, but make sure the rain cover is a separate piece. Tents that claim to already be waterproof without a cover tent to be trash. Although if you find two cheap tents you could always string a tarp over the both of them.
For cooking, plates and shit aren't necessary if you don't want them. If everyone gets one of these cups in the picture you'll be set. They fit perfectly around a nalgene style water bottle. Otherwise I'm sure any military in the world has a canteen cup that fits around their issued canteen.
More to follow, but I'll probably want to send pictures of that shit too so I'll post as I go
