I love the city, and find it fun and inspiring and really love the urban vibe. It's just quite different than the rural vibe and a lot of people who have never spent quality time, especially as a kid, in a rural settings or outdoors in nature just don't seem to be receptive to all the subtle things that make it so great, and so different than urban life. Maybe the examples I came up with off the top of my balls were weak but a lot of people don't feel cozy innawoods or innadirt and it's entirely because it's neither nostalgic nor familiar.
