You guys have to understand the purpose of a bivy. If you approach it expecting comfort you are looking at it wrong. A bivy should be thrown down and used to catch a quick 6 hrs of sleep, waking up before the sun is up, getting back on trail, and eating breakfast while you walk. It, along with cowboy camping is the antithesis of car camping.
I do 90% of my camping and hiking in a bivy. If the weather sucks and I start getting rained on what do I do? I get up, pack, and start walking again until the rain stops.
