I'm starting my herbs balcony, redpill me on some organic stuff: soil life and compost in pots, sprouted seeds teas, aloe, vitamin c and natural pesticide. What's the cheapest way to bring life into my pots? Should I dig for compost from near woods and maybe get some worms (euro nightcrawlers here) or buy worm castings and water it with maybe some sugar to start life back? I don't think I can "afford" a worm bin in my apartment, space-wise, I heard compost teas are a meme unless you are a microbiologist and know for sure what's inside it.
Do sprouted seeds teas work and when should I use them, as soon the first leaves appear?
Does aloe vera and vitamin c improve growth rate or plant resilience?
Also is it a good pesticide garlic+chili water to spray on leaves for thing I wanna eat? Do the leaves keep the tast of it then?
