I want to get a piece of rigid foam insulation to use as a boat floor on my inflatable fishing boat, but need some advice as I've never worked with the material before. My boat has a bathtub floor and wooden slats. Will 2" foam support 2 people ~145lb without cracking, or could I get away with less? Alternatively, what if I took out the wooden slats to shave weight and did something like pic related? Also, any tips for cutting in the parking lot since it won't fit in my car?
