We've got 67 from an 88 hatch so ~70% success abouts.
We plan to cull ~40 for the meat (easier to process than chickens and ready for harvest in 6-8 weeks) and keep 24 for laying and breeding.

People say chickens are the 'gateway' animal but they're noisy and don't grow/produce as fast as quail.
This is what they'll look like. White breed as opposed to the jumbo browns but they get just as big (12-14 oz).
