Quick question guys.
This morning I hooked the biggest bass in my life (typical fishing story I know) but I got it up to close to my kayak and seen it. It was probably 4 pounds or so, I haven't caught a lot of big ones.
Anyways, the fish darted back down as I was bringing him in. The line snapped and shot up into the air. Pretty deflating.
I was using 12 lb test, but I know that doesnt mean the fish has to be over 12 to break it. But...how come this fish was able to break it?
Is it related to my drag?
