You do need to pay for transportation out to wherever the crew can pick you up from. Whether that means taking an airplane or driving a few hours depends on where you live.
Transport from there on out is on them (camp movements etc)
You’re basically just going to need to pay for your bags and a shovel if you don’t already have basic camping supplies (tent, sleeping bag/pad) and some good boots.
And depending on what company you plant with there will be camp costs as well. Apparently there is an industry push to get rid of camp costs.
