Serious question, i have a decent city bike - does that even make sense? i am clueless when it comes to bikes - that does its job. Using it to commute around town is something i never do though, most of the times i am cycling on the mountains around the city. Today though, next to the road i spotted a trail and thought about getting a mtb. Prices are a bit too much and i dont really plan to spend that amount of money for a second bike that i will use once or twice per week. So here is my thought, what if i was to buy new wheels that fit bigger tyres? Same kind of tyres as an mtb uses. Pic related is somewhat alike my bike with the exception i have a front suspension. Dont go ham with your ideas, i am not a pro athlete who wants to min max the shit out of it, i simply want to do it once every now and then to break my routine and have some fun. So changing wheels will do or will it make the bike unusable?
