I waited it out until morning, had the last of my food to give me energy to get to the nearest village. Stayed in a pub on top of a radiator and drinking tea. Friend was to far away to pick me up that day so I camped out with no food, and was picked up the following morning.
That said I was back up there for 2 weeks camping in the summer. Well worth it.
