I have the varuteleka rp80 made by savotta. It's an external frame, so quite different, but the shoulder straps and waist belt is pretty much the same. It looks simple, but somehow it's comfy and sit very well on the back. You'll hear other say how you don't need a sternum strap and you really don't, because it doesn't move around.
Best big pack I've had and I've used Norröna (gave me shoulder pain after awhile which is why I had to change) and Klättermusen mjölner.
I don't think thicc padding is necessarily a good thing. It's like thick squishy sneakers (adidas boost for example) that feel comfy at first, but after awhile the feet hurts, at least for me. But I also like minimalist/barefoot shoes. I also think there's something to sleeping on a harder surface instead of super soft mattresses, once you get used to it.
