How retarded would it be to drop ~20k on one of these guy's
https://ghboats.com/our-boats/ 17' sailboats as a first boat?
I know the cheapest / "best" way to get into sailing is a cheap Craigslist 22 footer or a sailing club, but the ability to beach it and row it to go camping along the cascade marine trail has me so completely hooked that I feel like I am overlooking the obvious downsides ($$). Every other dinghy/small boat I look at seems geared towards being a yacht tender or fall for the racing meme (I want something were I am not guaranteed to get wet) . norseboat seems to have something similar but in the same price range and not local.
