>>434069Truck kinda dwarfs the bike. Same one though. Helmet cameras do funky things with the wide-angle lens.
Taillight/brake light is between the plate bracket and fender, >pic related. Didn't like what was available commercially, went through a bunch of cheaper shit... finally designed my own. PCB's printed, components stuffed, replaced the entire wiring harness. Been running it for about 5 years with no more problems than an occasional broken wire.
Vehicle meets the minimum requirements. I do keep a copy of the equipment compliance form with my registration/insurance, first year I had it plated I was stopped by a rookie cop who didn't know any better... glad to have that form with me, even though the registration/insurance had enough info on it to prove him wrong. Only other times i've been stopped is for exceeding the posted speed limit... and every time it's happened, I've gotten off fairly easy. Once, ~20 over, off with a warning and "I didn't think a dirt bike could go that fast."
Don't need a whole lot to be legal: headlight, taillight, horn, a mirror, and DOT tires are the big ones. I don't even need turn signals to get a plate in this state (If the bike comes with them from the factory then they're required, but since mine was bought as a dirt bike and I added all the streety-legaly stuff on it, they're not required).
