>>897118The drop shot rig is all about finding suspended fish. If they are 2' off the bottom, you want your bait to be about 2' off the bottom. And there are so many different rigs depending how you are fishing. 3-way rigs, river rigs, drop shots, dropper loop rigs, etc are all similar for specific conditions. My advice is following other anglers in your area who are having success.
Figuring out the right time, the right spot, the right bait, and the right presentation all factor into how much you catch but you def need a lil luck on your side too.
