>>1890320I know this isn't the foraging thread but we don't have one now as far as I see. I have a ton of wild raspberries I don't know what to do with. Kinda wish I could grow them indoors year round but I know it's unrealistic even if I freeze them as they ripen; best I could hope for is some hanging pot setup next to a window. They're great with sugar over them and also great in cereal with milk (frosted flakes + sugar + wild raspberries). Also, they're especially great frozen with sugar over them. Basically Dippin Dots but fruit since they break apart into little balls. What else can I use them on? Pic related. Shitty pic is shitty because shitty camera.
I also want to know how I'd go about digging up one of my small Cherokee Purple tomato plants and how to grow it indoors over the winter. I know how to repot obviously, but will the temperature shift screw with it? Could always keep the window cracked where it'll be for a while. It never grew, just stayed tiny. Grew it from a part that snapped off my main plant. Great tomatoes, but I never really got many to grow. A lot of stem snapping, too. A lot of propping the plant up.
>>1898682I think I had that problem with some goldenrod. 4/8 dead, ground too hard to transplant from where it was growing even though it was warm. Didn't realize they just have 2 foot wide roots, one fat root a foot in two directions.
