The 1080p quality is top notch... you can see a short video I made with it - default settings no adjustments other than anti-shake.

Unfortunately the sound quality from this device is very poor, there is a mod to attach an external mic but I dont want to do this.

Note that youtube seriously compresses videos down.. so it doesnt look so great as the original film. It also takes 12MB photos.

Cost $115... with a waterproof case and mounts. I went ahead and purchased a chest mount for a future ski trip.
