My Savinelli briar went sour on me after half a dozen smokes, and six months later I can still taste something sour just sucking on the stem with nothing in the bowl. Is there anything I can do to save it? Should I try smoking more aromatics to cover up the sourness? Something lightly cased to try and absorb it? Or am I going to have to give it the old salt pack and Everclear and start it all from scratch?
