>>1361172Continued. Keep in mind i'm only talking about Louisiana below mid Louisiana, don't know much about up there and it's more arkansas/Texas than Louisiana, different ideals, people, culture, and religion
>Hog huntingYeah it's everywhere, never said it wasn't, but we do it on air boats chasing the fuckers with AR-15s, not the best and not the most, but just one more great activity tacked onto owning property here
>offshoregonna add a little more, didn't really add too much to differentiate from other states, mainly this, Alabama and MS have very little gulf coast land, Texas land is very abrupt and not filled with many deltas and estuaries, there's so much technical shit that goes into it, but it's basically pic related, just a FUCKTON of crazy deltas, basins and swamp leading to offshore, so you can basically stay inshore and hunt/fish or you can go offshore pretty nice
>deerNot here to stir up shit, but comparing white tails to elk is pretty fucking dumb, COMPLETELY different hunting, and prep, most deer hunting down here is in plots made and handled by land owners, or management teams, also field dressing is non existent, and we take all the meat we can also most hunting is done in stands here and rarely do we track deer and just shoot them from wherever
And while I love elk hunting, i'd never in a 100 years compare it to deer hunting, especially due to the fact that Louisiana doesn't get snow or frozen over ever, no has zero incline anywhere
Basically to sum it up, the state is called sportsman's paradise for a reason, while we might not have the best of the best, we have almost too many activites to do
Most people have their couple of activites that takes up their time and would never even dream of being able to do all the shit you can
