>>2340557Seems okay so long as you start your hike on a weekday. A couple years ago I went backpacking there about 30 minutes outside of Denver and I didn't have any problems with crowds. The traffic on the weekend was ridiculous though. Just an endless river of cars headed out of the city and into the mountains. Good thing I was going home that day.
As usual, the NEET wins and the wagie gets the raw end of the deal. Weekends are the normie containment zone for /out/. Mon thru Thurs is the golden zone. If you start on those days, pretty much anywhere in the country you'll get to do what you wanted to do with no crowding.
