I was looking for those weighted swimbait hooks in my tackle bag the other day and realized the smaller ones I bought are useless. When I bought those, I was thinking the whole weight would go inside the fluke and the hook would stick out like a jighead. Now they are too small to rig weedless with any normal Fluke Jr's or anything.
And those Shakey Head jigs are kinda cool but some of them are pretty much just football jigheads. There's no way I could rig those and run them on the bottom without catching a ton of weeds. I think I grabbed those off the Dick's clearance rack though so at least I didn't spend too much.
Speaking of the shakey heads, I really want to get more use out of those but they are such a bitch to use if there is any wind at all.
