Yeah deer and fish do it, but they also eat nothing but stuff already growing around the river in question. You ate borderline plastics for decades. Your shit is harmful and makes it very difficult for plants to grow where it ends up. Not to mention plants that already exist near it will absorb the shit water and become more dangerous to eat, and far more people eat raw wild veggies than drink unfiltered water.
