As for what I bring with me, I'm pretty minimal in the approach. Mostly because it's an impulse thing, and whenever I can find time, I don't like to make the biggest deal about it.
I think really about the only true essential is a flashlight. I'll usually be in shorts and a t-shirt, and my everyday skate shoes.
I've contemplated bringing my gun, but haven't. It's legal to carry, even conceal where I'm at.
