>>2589104Yeah the holidays are weirdly expensive.. The one week holiday we had was like £1200 or something, and that was after a discount cause it was a super late booking. Winter was cold but it's pretty easy to heat the boat up. Got a multi fuel stove with a backboiler that also heats the radiators, and a diesel powered heater that also can heat the rads. But there's a point in mid February where you're not sure those damp cold days will ever end. Honestly keeping it cool in summer can be a harder challenge but who cares cause it's so fucking nice lmao
Better than being stuck cause it got to -10C and the fucking canals frozen over
