A-liner is a brand that makes them, they've been around for years. Any camper that style is often called an "A-liner", regardless of who makes it. A-liner is by far the most common brand, at least in the USA.
I've been in a bunch of them. They're neat, and unique, but somewhat cramped. They have plenty of room if you're coming from a tent, they'll feel like a mansion.
The thing is that, they're expensive. They cost as must as a larger, non-collapsable unit.
Factor in pop-up campers, and they start to lose their appeal. You can get a canvas sided pop-up for 25% of the cost of an A-liner, and it will have 3-4 times the interior space. You then have the disadvantages of canvas sides, but some prefer them, and they are amazingly weather proof.
