There's a great book on the underground tunnels of Las Vegas. The system is a massive network and down closer to The Strip there are some hobos that live there. I was up in the schmancy suburbs so we never ran into people (except us angsty teenage boys doing graffiti and shit).
I later got in touch with a guy named Bradley something, who was a famous rebellious academic guy who wrote a PhD thesis on urbex. He gave me a Google maps to a part of the tunnel system you could drive straight into, but I forgot what happened to that info.
