>>2372907Well, I bought it because I wanted a specific windshield for the pot and the stove that I have. The foldable commercial windshields here were too short, so I had made one foldable windshield out of tinplate and bicycle spokes(?) and rivets myself. After using it a couple times, the fact that I had to have it separate from my cooking set (and it weighed 600g due to the material) made it somewhat impractical.
If you aren't planning on getting larger pots and want a stackable set, then that
optimus windshield is more than suitable. I like the fact that I have everything in a nice little bundle. Pocket rocket 2 is on the higher end for the windshield though, so I'd guess that the Primus or Optimus stoves would be more optimal (pun not intended) for that windshield though.
>>2372915Well, if it had graduation marks on it, that'd be amazing. Otherwise I don't really have complaints with it. Sometimes I'd like to have a pot that doesn't have as sensitive coating as what teflon is because I like having metallic eating utensils, but not having the food burn on the bottom of the pot is amazing and wood fibre is a good material for cutlery. I'd recommend you to go to the store and try fitting your stove and a gas canister inside the pots that you like. Also, I store my stove without the container, that helps with saving space.
Oh and by the way, if you do end up with a non stick coating on the inside of the pot, you should get a canvas bag or a piece of a t-shirt or something around the gas bottle and stove so that you don't damage the surface more than necessary.
