water filtration IS a meme in much of the world. i have been out for 30 years now, dragged outside by my parents and grandparents. water filters was not a subject in fact i didnt even know they existed before i came to this shithole. a quick google on water filters in my language came up with the same result, no one use them except in populated areas and when water temperature might reach 20C+ thats when bacteria starts to grow. some of them even made fun of the north american water filter hype and had spent months in canada/alaska drinkin water just like at home with no effects. pic related the only water source at my sisters cabin that i look after, just had a night there drinking that water, unfiltered off course
