Not really a mystery but there's a creepy private hunting ground in New Hampshire. It's extremely elite. Like president tier elite. Apparently in the past Teddy Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, Grover Cleveland, Rudyard Kipling, William B. Ruger, even Joe DiMaggio hunted there.
I guess until about 10 or so years ago the place was open to the public if you sent a request there but has since been closed. The hunting ground is famous for importing "exotic" animals to the park such as boars, elk, bison, etc.
Now I'm not saying there's necessarily anything fishy going on here but it is a bit odd that this place won't even allow interested people who write them in advance to go to the property, especially considering it's historical significance and vast space (over 26,000 acres.) (another odd point I should add is there is a bit of a discrepancy in the actual size of the park leading me to believe that there may be more to this story that you might think.
