Before you do any of this I would highly recommend you get yourself a tent and a sleeping bag and actually go live in the woods for a week or two at a stretch. I know the idea of living in the bush seems great but when you wake up on the 5th day of rain to zero warmth and a pain in your back like you got kicked by a mule because of all that sleeping on the cold ground, you'll reconsider just how much you want to do it.
While you're still at home, start building shit out of wood just to see what you can and can't do. When I was 16, my family had to move houses and the only way to get some privacy and not sleep in the kitchen was to move into a 2m x 2m closet/box room and I would be damned sleeping on the cold tile floor so I made myself a bed out of pallet wood and thrown away fence posts. I had a rusty saw, a hammer and £2 of nails. Zero power tools. It took me 3 weeks and a lot of trial and error but in the end I made an actual bed that hold my weight and was where I lived until I was 19. So before you throw yourself into the woods, see if you can make something like that to help you understand basic construction + limitation of your materials and tools.
