The poor guys were just too out of their element, can't really blame them but they'd act like the wildfire slept at night and took weekends. Incredibly slow to act and they didn't know what they were doing when they did. I think the provincial firefighters were actually the worst. Real stuck-up attitudes on most of them. I watch the government crew stop and send home one logging outfit because they didn't have the permits or paperwork (S100) to fight fire and it's not like we had a lot of people to tackle a fire that burnt 86,000 hectares. However that's government. All the foresters working for the mill ended up being great!
