>>2580064Yankee here, throwing out a bobber with a worm underneath it is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to get into fishing hands down. Not sure how effective it is there due to the different ecosystem and species but just about everything eats worms either way. You could fish it either below a bobber or or also just on the bottom with a swivel ~12in away from the hook and a barrel sinker above that. Picrel is what I usually use with worms since I can either fish it on the bottom or throw a bobber on there and get the bait off the bottom.
