on a side note, does anyone have any idea what the fuck these trees are and what kind of weather effect explains their abundance? this particular mountain actually borders the ocean whereas my previous brown hill posts are part of a range which comes after the valley (further from the ocean) so my only assumption is these trees are somehow able to extract moisture from the air to grow in an otherwise completely barren environment
