I live in a suburb of Pittsburgh PA and within walking distance from my house is an abandoned rat farm. My friend's uncle used to work there and apparently it was some sort of government facility where they used to perform tests on lab rats. The place is still standing, lots of broken glass everywhere, all kinds of junk they used for tests still sit around (cages and shit). There's also what looks like what used to be a furnace, or even what they used to cremate dead rats. Nowadays it's used as an airsoft course and a hideout for homeless people. Here's the only pic I have of it right now, if there's more urban exploration threads in the near future then I'll post the other ones my friend has.
Does anyone know of any cool spots to check out in Pittsburgh? I'd imagine we would have some due to the industrial history and all.
