I quite like the Svord Peasant Mini as a beater pocket knife. Very little can go wrong with that knife and you can also easily adjust the joints with a narrow coin or similar. Excellent ergonomics and the longer-than-usual friction tang is a big plus (compare to the tiny button thing on your pic rel. However, the wood they use is trash, so it's only worth getting the plastic (NOT polycarbonate, avoid at all costs) ones... so I've been looking for something a bit nicer.
The Perttula looks pretty good, and I also like Ohta FK5 (bit small though) and FK7.
Though I think the perfect pocket knife for light duty work (cutting cord, food, packaging, fabric) would ultimately be a Svord mini with custom grip like pic rel.
