summer pack my mom bought me 15 years ago, and the costco down blanket packs into a wad small enough to fit in a half gallon ziplock and can keep me warm down to 40° farenheit with clothes a hoddie and my clymat pad. Sometimes i need to wear my boots.
But it's kinda groovy to not have much on your back other than water and some food.
Alternatively I can also bring frozen steaks and butter noodles if I'm only sleeping out for one night.
Going to hike portions of the Spanish trail this summer looking for escalante iconography on canyon walls. I found one at a hotspring last year and now i want more.
