>>2260773>you wouldn't advise a 10 weight for jetty fishing aloneprobably not. there will be days where you cant cast less, but they're far and few between. your 10 weight will probably spend more time collecting dust than any of your other rods. dont get me wrong. by the by, back to lakes, ive personally thrown 70 foot casts with a 4 weight in good conditions, so dont think a 4 weight is too light to be useful on still water. trade your 5 weight for a 4 weight (i really cant reccomend a cabelas cgr enough, i think you'll be really happy with it, especially at the price) and an 8 weight. and dont think that just because an 8 weight is capable of hauling in heavy fish it wont bend plenty for panfish and even trout to be fun on
