I have lived in Washington State all my life. and lived along the border to Olympic National Park (not Olympia...). In my opinion, it is by far the best place to go /out/. Fifteen miles away from any town on the Olympic Peninsula and you are in complete wilderness, almost backcountry. Pic near a place called Silver Lake in the Buckhorn Wilderness area.
