Bad shit happens in EU and US too.There's nothing wrong with wanting to have those experiences, but you shouldn't be reckless about it by putting yourself in danger needlessly. Going hiking in a 3rd world jungle, alone, without food, enough water, or communication equipment to be successful is just stupid. Lot's of people on this board go /out/ and push boundaries every weekend. The difference is we take proper precautions (and unsurprisingly come home by Sunday)
