My girlfriend's parents have a few tree's in their back yard that they pretty much ignore (the fruit only get used as dog toys) and I've recently acquired a taste for the fruit. Earlier in the year (but really to late for what I did) I dug up a few small suckers coming off the trees and have managed to keep 3 alive.
I'm looking to start a few from seed but have no idea where to begin. Half of what I've read online suggests months of stratification in the freezer, while other methods call for extracting the seeds from the stone and simply soaking for few days. I guess I can try both its not like I'm hurting for seed, but I wanted to see if anyone here has anything they'd like to share?
