Sometimes I put an uncooked stew in my thermos to marinade and cook it on day 2 for dinner.
Last time I made something like this;
>Blade steak cubed
>Carrot, onion, peas, beans, celery
>Fresh Thyme, Rosemary, Sage, MSG, Garlic, Bay Leaf, Salt, LOTS of fresh cracked black pepper (just how I like it)
>1 can of Guinness
Low simmer in embers for a couple hours
Serve with Potato Flakes rehydrated with butter and S&P
