Yeah, so I acquired some locks from Sears/Home depot with roz the other night. We had to go pretty far out of our way and were soaking wet by the time it was done. Still, free locks. We put a deadbolt on the front door and I boarded it up pretty good, then put a padlock on it too or good measure. The new front door we put a lock on and a padlock, Roz got everyone a bunch of copies made for free at some place. Yes, sometimes you do what you have to anons, I'm sorry.
When we got back that night we put the locks on and finished preparing the house for the inspection that we assumed would happen. I nailed more shit like siding and the cellar door shut because everything under 10 ft has to be locked. I've been shitass broke for the last few days but I haven't needed money aside from the bus. This city is an interesting place and the kids that live on the streets live an interesting life. People like to look down upon the homeless but there's a big different between being homeless and helpless.
Yesterday was the supposed inspection day so we all cleared out by 11 and went our seperate ways. Roz and I ventured around most of the day and tried to figure out the direction of the squat. I'm sure she had her own things to figure out, I had my own stuff to figure out like if I was going to follow through and see this to the end, win or lose. I've decided to stay. This is a good crowd to run with, if shit hits the fan. I'm going to have my medic bag sent to me for the May Day protests here, hopefully I won't have to use it but by the sound of it shit's probably going to be out of hand.
