>>1602715And that's about it for this week. This gives at least 4-6 pumpkins 5 weeks to fully mature, and for the Jack-be-Little varieties, that's almost a guaranteed maturity by Halloween. The Jack-Lanterns will be about a week after. Please God don't let them die.
But on that note, however, I have a question. Should I just let this week be the week of pollination and just cut the rest off to let these first ones grow, or should I let them go through next week as well which will naturally delay those ones' maturation time period well into November where frost will undoubtedly hit? I was planning to buy a frost blanket to let the stragglers catch up the few days they were behind, but if it gets really cold, the blanket might not help enough.
What should I do?
