Going to dunk some skrimps in the Atlantic off Folly Beach outside of Charleston for Memorial Day weekend (weather permitting). I don’t have that much experience fishing salt but I plan to chuck a pompano rig and see what happens. How successful will this strategy be? Not hoping to catch any monster reds just would like to catch a few keeper sized anything. Going to bring my 9wt and throw some clousers and shrimp and see what happens. Maybe some topwater for the hell of it.
