We don't need a general for every possible subject, just the few subjects that are commonly discussed and result in multiple similar threads;
For example, we regularly have stove threads but rarely have actual cooking threads, no need to confuse the issue by cramming cooking in with stoves.
Also, there are daily tent threads but rarely camper threads, so there shouldn't an issue about separate camper threads.
In fact, now that I look at it again, we only really need Knife & Axe General, Tent & Hammock General and a Boots General.
